Mighty Ships: Avataq Hit the icy seas aboard heavy lift transport vessel Avataq on her perilous, but vital, 2,200-mile lifeline mission to the near-Arctic town of Kuujjuaq. It's one of only three trips this super-sized cargo ship can make there each year due to extreme weather conditions, and the survival of thousands of the town's residents depends on a successful voyage. But this trip won't be easy. They'll face mechanical breakdowns, treacherous ice, and raging waters... and all eyes are on Avataq's rookie captain to make sure his first mission is accomplished.
